Beautiful Norway

Norway-Eidfjord 4406 R
Eidfjord, Norway

I've just come back from Norway, where we spent two wonderful weeks cruising the beautiful fjords, going right up into the Arctic Circle to the North Cape - home of the midnight sun.

Norway - Leknes Lofoten 3809 R
Leknes, Lofoten Islands, Norway

I won't bore you with too much of the amazing scenery, on to a few of the sweet treats that I had - it's tough having to force down desserts like this every day! I didn't take loads of photos because I got a lot of strange looks and was in danger of being labelled a weirdo!

Thank you for all the comments that were left on my blog while I was away, I'll be visiting your blogs in the next few days to see what you've been up to!

Never been to Norway...yet have almost been now. WOW...you've had a gorgeous 2 weeks, Nic. Thrilled for you. Well deserved holidays, & sweet beyond belief! It's really not fair you know...all these desserts. Is it legal for one person to post so many yummmies in one post alone? How did you choose 'which one'...or hey, don't tell me you had them all! ♥

what does it say about me that i'd much rather look at food than gorgeous, breathtaking scenery? hmm. those treats look awesome, obviously, and it's striking how many of them are garnished with a stick of some sort. :)

Oh, go ahead, bore us with photos. :-) It might be the only way I ever make it to Norway, though those desserts are certainly a new source of temptation to fit it into my next itinerary somehow!

GORGEOUS. The pics of Norway, I mean. The dessert pics are just a mean, mean tease. :p I don't eat eggs or gelatin, which pretty much generally leaves ANY commercially made, and most homemade desserts out for me! :wah:

Not sure if I'd still be able to fit into my wardrobe if I had to battle against those desserts on a daiy basis though...!
